Great photo! I just stopped by to visit after finishing your essay in "My Baby Rides the Short Bus." After reading the book, I realized that maybe there's no single voice to represent the experience of all parents of kids with special needs, but I loved yours. I really felt it captured the complexity of my crazybeautiful life. Thanks for sharing it. I'm really looking forward to reading more.

This is your parents's friend, Judy. Your oicture reminds me of a Shel Silverstein poem. I think it's "Sister for Sale." do you know it? I'll try to remember to look it up at school tomorrow. Can't remember which book it's in.
