And Sometimes Being Socially Inept Is A Good Thing

Elias's Aide, Ms Julia, told me the following story:

His class was playing some sort of quiet game in, I think, math, when Elias farted. Everyone giggled.

Elias turned to the student next to him and said, "Damon, I farted."

He then turned in the other direction to tell the student sitting on that side of him, "That's funny, I farted."

To Ms. Julia, and so everyone could hear, he said, "I'm a farting machine!"
