This is such a moving and beautiful story, made all the more so that my beloved daughter, Kara Hooper, had a hand in working this miracle for you. I am always amazed by the ties that bind her team mates and class mates in an intricate but ever-so-enduring web of loving friendship throughout the years. Thank you for sharing this story and renewing my own faith that there is much good and loving kindness among us. god bless you, your family and your new home.

Kara Hooper comes by that magnanimity naturally brought up by a gentleman of the first water.

this on had me with tears...how sweet :)

on needs to be one...

I'm not surprised. Incredibly loving human beings like you, dear Christy, have so much coming back to them. Think of this as just the start.,

This story brought tears to my eyes. I grew up in Anchorage but have always loved Seward. I got to bring my boys there in 2013 - amazing memories.

Yes!! So glad to hear you are feeling positive. Tank up on those great feelings and as someone like you who has shifted towns and even continents, remember that moved basically engender a sine curve of ups and downs. May your ride be wild and happy!!
